Matthew Town is the Capital of Inagua and is home to most of its 900 people. This is also the where the only harbour is located. From here you can enjoy the wonderful protected wildlife on the island like the large bird sanctuary with over 80,000 flamingoes or the Union Creek National Reserve which has an enclosed creek dedicated to studying green sea turtles.
